Dr. Finlayson - VeterinarianAJF.JPG

Dr. Finlayson grew up on a cattle ranch in Montana where he had lots of hands on experience with all kinds of animals. He trained horses at one time and also entered some rodeo events and rode bareback horses and bulls. He graduated with his degree in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 1972. After graduation he completed a one year internship at Purdue University in Lafayette Indiana. Dr. Finlayson and his wife, Gayla are very proud of their 4 children and 9 grandchildren. When Dr. Finlayson is not practicing veterinary medicine he coaches youth sports, especially baseball. He also builds and flies radio control airplanes. When time permits and he can draw out an elk or deer permit he likes to go hunting.

Eliabeth_Walker__1_.JPGElizabeth Walker – Receptionist

Elizabeth started working for Dr. Finlayson in August 2009.  She was born and raised in Arizona and loves caring for all kinds of animals.  She is a kind, friendly person who wants to make you and your pets’ experience at Alpine Animal Clinic a happy one.

Elizabeth just recently received her Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University and has found working at Alpine Animal Clinic to be a very rewarding experience.  She is the eldest of seven children, all of whom have been home-schooled at one point or another, and when she is not working, she loves to play the piano, read, draw, or hang out with her family and friends.

Chris Thomas - Those of you who have been coming in to Alpine Animal Clinic will remember Chris.  She is no longer with us.  She had a little boy the spring of 2009 and is now fully occupied as a full time mother.  We are sorry to loose Chris, but understand her desire to spend all her time as a mom.
