Miss Kitty
We rescued Miss Kitty when she was 6 weeks old back in 1998. She is a female Persian mix. She was just a tiny little ball of hair with big green eyes and became a favorite in the waiting room. Some customers would even come by just to visit her. She has grown into a beautiful cat with a sweet personality but she does have quite an addiction to “temptations” cat treats. She demands her quota of treats daily. During the summer months you may notice Miss Kitty looks a little different. We give her a short haircut every summer. She is always embarrassed for the first day or two but her “princess” side kicks in and she gets back to showing off. You will usually find her stretched out taking a nap on her favorite chair in the waiting room.
Marvin
Marvin, (aka Starvin Marvin) is a stray who strolled up the sidewalk one day back in 2003. He quickly became part of the family here at the office. Marvin is the epitome of “Cool Cat”. We usually tell people he is in charge of the office…and he thinks he is! Most days you will find him lying across the counter at the front desk fast asleep. Marvin’s favorite pastime, besides napping, is chasing the laser light “bug” all around the office. He is also very fond of chicken. More than one unattended lunch has been stolen by this “chicken bandit”!
Sam
Sam came to live at the office as an eight week old kitten in 1997. He was a skinny little guy who was afraid of everything. As everyone notices, Sam is no longer skinny. He is on a diet and has lost two pounds! When you see him, please pat him on the head and cheer him on. Sam is also not afraid of as much anymore. In fact he is usually the first to greet customers as they come in the front door. He really loves people and other animals. So if you are standing at the front counter and notice something bumping at the back of your leg meowing loudly it’s just our Sam telling you “welcome” and he needs a little of your attention.
